Full Screen

Using iA Writer Pro for Mac in Full Screen hides the Menu Bar and Dock, helping you concentrate. Combine this with Sentence Syntax Control for optimum productivity.

Open iA Writer Pro

Enter Full Screen

Do one of the following:

  • In iA Writer Pro, select View ➤ Enter Full Screen.
  • Click the arrows in the top right of the window.

Exit Full Screen

Do one of the following:

  • In iA Writer Pro, move the pointer to the top of the screen to reveal the Menu bar, then select View ➤ Exit Full Screen.
  • Click the arrows in the top right of the screen.

Once you start typing all chrome fades away — move the pointer to make it reappear. To reveal the Menu Bar, move the pointer to the top of the screen.

You can show or hide the Sidebar while in Full Screen, and also show or hide each Sidebar section, to display only the tools you need. For more information, see this help topic: iA Writer Pro’s Sidebar.
